8 to 9 red potatoes
1/2 stick of butter
About 1 cup of milk or more if needed
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley

Boil potatoes until really fork tender
Drain water off of potatoes
Melt 1/2 stick of butter with 1 tbsp minced garlic in microwave
Place potatoes back in pot while leaving the heat on low and add 1 cup of milk
Add melted butter and minced garlic
Add garlic salt, garlic powder, parmesan cheese and salt
Now mash the potatoes to your desired consistency (add more milk to loosen potatoes if needed)
Add freshly chopped parsley and mix to combine
Taste and add more salt if needed.
